Eve is a Leadership Coach, Lindy, Balboa and Tango Dancer. In early 2016 she discovered – in Buenos Aires of all places – the crazy world of Lindy Hop dancing and since then is seriously contaged with the virus. Lately her own dance focus shifted a bit to Balboa. She is the booker of the Swing Farm Organizing Team and responsible for web and FB communications and project management. If needed she is the “bad cop” of the event, so don’t mess with her 🙂 .
shoe size: 39
favorite dish: Labskaus
date and occasion of your first swing dance: March 2016, Club Fahy, Buenos Aires, con Los Biggeri Bros
best moment of your dance career: when Skye suddenly appeared in front of me and asked for a dance <3
most awkward moment of your dance career I hit Jamin’s nose whilst our very first dance at the chase, on my birthday … mortifying!
what does your dance-partner like the most in you my creativity and laughers, and I don’t care how it looks, as long as we have fun together
and what drives him/her nuts 😉 : too much energy, and the bloody elbow 😉
Agnes is an editor at Anaconda Verlag on parental leave, hoping to soon introduce two further leaders to the wonderful world of Lindy Hop. At Hülly Hop Swing Farm she’s responsable for attendee administration, and coordinates our secret heroes: the voluntary helpers team. She’s thrilled to work with such enthusiastic people like Henning and Eve, and ready to let Hülly hop high again and again!
shoe size: 39-41, my feet are complicated
favorite dish: Topfen Palatschinken (mom made)
date and occasion of your first swing dance: Well, there was a beginner’s workshop a few years ago but I wouldn’t label those timid steps my first swing dance. Lindy Hop is a continuum, and I am but a voyager on a vast ocean of pleasure 😉
best moment of your dance career: Walking the streets of Lisbon, we run into a bunch of people dancing Lindy Hop on a cosy plaza. Big smile on my face, I am invited to join and … maybe that was my first real swing dance experience.
most awkward moment of your dance career: During one of the first classes, I was just led into a turn, my forefinger got stuck in my leader’s nose, just for a very brief moment, but it has been there. Of course I apologized a thousand times, but the man avoids me ever since.
what does your dance-partner like the most in you: Strict emphasis on pure fun
and what drives him/her nuts 😉 : Whenever I follow the (or is it my inner) music more than the leads
Henning is responsible for civic and media education at ABC Bildungs- und Tagungszentrum e.V.. After his first Lindy Hop crash course he didn’t only had a rebirth as a dancer but also immediately felt the need to organize a dance event on his workplace. Dissolution of boundaries is what you make of them.
At Hülly Hop Swing Farm he is responsible for everything around venue, food, technical stuff, financial things and participants wellness. (He is not a cop!!)
shoe size: 49
favorite dish: Hummus
date and occasion of your first swing dance: December 2015, Crash Course at Dockside Swing, Hamburg
best moment of your dance career: Everytime I put on my dancing shoes and the feeling of knowing: I WILL DANCE NOW. All the time.
most awkward moment of your dance career „Wanna dance?“ „Yes, now that you changed your sweaty shirt.“
what does your dance-partner like the most in you: me never getting tired and (most of the times) having energy for yet another dance.
and what drives him/her nuts 😉 : still working on a good perceptibility of my lead
